Our Chapter History
The Northeast Atlanta chapter of National Charity League, Inc.’s mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.
NCL Inc. is made up of 267 Chapters, spread around 27 states, divided into 5 Regions, split up into 18 Districts. Our Northeast Atlanta chapter, NEA, is located within District 14 which includes 22 Chapters throughout GA, NC, VA, & AL. For the 2018-2019 period, District 14 served 175,227 Phianthory hours.
We are made up of families who reside in or attend school in the areas surrounding the Highway 141 Corridor, including South Forsyth, Gwinnett County, North Fulton County, Johns Creek, North Norcross and Peachtree Corners.
2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the Northeast Atlanta (NEA) chapter. NCL NEA was established in 2010 and chartered in 2012. We were the 162nd chapter in the United States and 5th in the Atlanta area. The membership for the current 2019-2020 period includes 126 Ticktockers (Daughters) and 98 Patronesses (Mothers) for a total of 224 members.
As of the close of the last period, (2018-2019), NCL NEA has had:
85 Ticktockers graduate from the program becoming leaders with a giving heart
13 graduated Ticktockers were Legacies meaning their older sister is a NCL graduate
57 Patronesses who completed the NCL program and built special bonds with their daughters
10 Years of priceless special memories made serving our community and developing leadership skills
